The Wilsonton Shopping Centre is located in Toowoomba City and offers more than 50 stores and other lifestyle services, such as cinemas and restaurants. With two full-line supermarkets and an extensive array of specialty retailers, this retail space has become the premiere shopping location for locals and travellers alike.

V Architecture’s brief was to revitalise the existing shopping centre and seek to improve connectivity between the two very distinct supermarket shopping nodes.

Part of the objective was to re-mix the existing tenancy offer and establish expansive outdoor open spaces that could be utilised by the public for alfresco dining, community gatherings and children’s play/activity. The upgrade included an outdoor dining precinct and improvements to the mall and centre façade.
