Karalee Shopping Centre

The Karalee Shopping Village expansion represented one of the biggest shopping centre upgrades undertaken in Ipswich’s north-eastern growth corridor, more than doubling the total floor area of the existing centre.

The project involved building a new full-line Coles and 15 new ancillary specialty tenancies to join the existing Woolworths and speciality stores. In addition, the adjoining Medical Centre doubled in size.

Located less than 15 minutes from the Ipswich CBD, the centre and Alfresco Dining Hub has become a local place maker for the community and a venue for weekend entertainment.

Karalee Shopping Village is now a complete package for the growing neighbourhood and while the centre predominantly services local residents, its proximity to the Warrego Highway means it can also service a much broader catchment.
